Woobie Hank: Insulated with USGI poncho-liner, serves as a large rag, knee pad, and adventure companion tool.

Woobie Hank: Insulated with USGI poncho-liner, serves as a large rag, knee pad, and adventure companion tool.

This two-material sided handkerchief features a U.S. Made Military Issue Poncho Liner on one side and 100% cotton ripstop on the reverse. The poncho liner (often referred to as a "woobie" and used as a blanket) includes a 100% nylon oxford-weave outer layer with 100% polyester inner batting and is sewn to a functional sheet of ripstop. The hank can still be stuffed in the pants pocket but it's tie-cords and "oversized" rectangular shape enables you to implement it as a large rag, seat pad, pillow (bundle clothes or soft goods inside it), knee pad, sleeping bag under-torso blanket, neck gaiter, etc.

#WOOBIEHANK

  • Woobie Side: Repurposed Military Issue poncho-liner Woodland Camo (NSN: 8405-00-889-3683), made in the USA by "Winston Salem Industries for the Blind Inc". Note that only the Woodland Camo Woobie is CFI issue w/ NSN. Coyote Brown and Olive Drab Woobies are from USGI Industries with a similar style "NSN" label. [We can also include the original NSN label affixed to your hank if we have any in available, select in drop-down box but note; non-woodland variants feature a similar label]
  • Ripstop Side: We used 100% Cotton Ripstop fabric and hemmed it over the woobie. This side serves the purpose of a standard hank.
